Welcome back to the Sunday Swing presented by 2nd Swing Golf. The PGA Tour resumed its fall schedule this past weekend with the playing of the Sanderson Farms Championship at The Country Club of Jackson in Jackson, MS.

The week turned into an emotional one for Steven Fisk – and his caddie, Jay Green – for more reasons than just his first PGA Tour victory. Fisk’s father passed away earlier this year at the age of 59 after a battle with cancer. Meanwhile, Green was previously on the bag for the late Grayson Murray before Murray’s sudden and tragic passing last year.

With both team members competing for more than themselves, Fisk got hot on Friday and didn’t take his foot off the gas pedal. After an opening-round 70, he carded rounds of 65, 65, and 64 to finish 24-under-par and win by two over Garrick Higgo. Fisk made birdie on four of the final five holes on Sunday to pull away and earn his first career PGA Tour victory.

Winner's Bag | Steven Fisk

Steven Fisk becomes the 2nd Mizuno staffer to win a PGA Tour title this season, joining Ben Griffin who won twice on his way to earning a spot on the U.S. Ryder Cup Team.

Fisk plays Mizuno clubs primarily throughout his entire bag minus his fairway woods, putter and a lob wedge, with each part of his bag performing very well in his first ever PGA Tour win.

Driver: Mizuno ST-Z 230 (9.5 degrees)

Shaft: Mitsubishi Kuro Kage XD 70 TX

You don't see many Mizuno Drivers out on the PGA Tour, but Fisk plays the highly underrated Mizuno ST-Z 230 off the tee! Fisk was both long and straight with the big stick this weekend, finishing 10th in average driving distance with a 314 yard average, and tying for 11th in accuracy, hitting 34 of 56 fairways. That performance helped him gain 3.939 Strokes on the Field Off the Tee, which was the 5th best performance overall.

Fairway Woods: PING G430 Max (15 Degrees, 21 Degrees)

Shafts: Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Blue 70 TX

Moving into the fairway wood section of Fisk's bag and that's where he deviates from Mizuno for the first time, as he games a pair of PING G430 Max Fairway Woods. Fisk games a PING G430 Max 3-Wood, playing it at 15 degrees for another option off the tee, or even into Par 5's. Then he joins the growing list of PGA Tour players opting for a high lofted fairway wood, playing a PING G430 Max 7-Wood, giving him a club with plenty of peak height and landing angle to use on longer par 3's, par 5's and even off the tee.

Irons: Mizuno Pro 245 (4), Mizuno Pro 243 (5), Mizuno MP-20 (6-9)

Shafts: KBS C-Taper 130 X

Fisk goes back to Mizuno for his iron set, blending 3 different models for to complete his set. He goes with the recently released Mizuno Pro 245 and Pro 243 for his 4 and 5 irons, and blends them with the Mizuno MP-20's, which were released in 2019. Just like his Mizuno driver, these clubs performed quite well for Fisk, as he tied for 8th in Greens in Regulation percentage, hitting greens at a 76 percent clip. Overall, he finished 12th in Strokes Gained Approach to green for the tournament.

Wedges: Mizuno T-22 (46-06, 50-07, 56-10 @55), Titleist Vokey Design SM10 (60-12D)

Shafts: KBS C-Taper 130 X

Into the wedge we go, where Fisk stays with Mizuno for his pitching, gap, and sand wedges, playing the Mizuno T-22's, but then opts for a Vokey SM10 60 degree to round out his wedge set. His wedge game was the strongest part of his bag. In addition to playing a part in his approach game, Fisk's wedge game around the green was incredible. He converted 12 of his 17 up-and-down opportunties, including 5 of 6 from the sand. Overall he finished 4th in Strokes Gained Around the Green, gaining 3.756 strokes overall.

Putter: Odyssey White Hot OG Rossie

Grip: SuperStroke Zenergy Pistol 1.0

Finally we get to Fisk's putter, where he plays the Odyssey White Hot OG Rossie, which was released in 2021. Fisk holed over 82 feet of putts over the tournament, which was 19th best, and averaged 1.56 putts per GIR, which was 3rd best, helping him finish in a tie for 13th in Strokes Gained Putting.
