The Tech Story

The G710 irons deliver a unique combination of technologies that ultimately generate explosive distance, stellar forgiveness, and accurate ball flights. The strong, yet flexible, C300 maraging steel face is thin and precision-machined to deliver faster ball speeds and help launch shots higher and farther. The sound and feel have been enhanced in the G710 irons thanks to a new epoxy added behind the clubface in each iron that dampens unwanted vibrations. The 17-4 stainless steel body includes high-density tungsten weights in the toe and heel that stabilize the club at impact, particularly on contact made away from the center of the face. The new stealth, hydropearl finish with a black PVD coating not only looks great and reduces glare, but it also provides hydrophobicity to repel water and improve performance in wet conditions. Meanwhile, the finish also creates the perception of a smaller, more compact clubhead.
