Honma TW747 Fairway Wood
Who’s It For?
As is the case with the drivers in the series, Honma’s Tour World (TW) 747 product line is designed to increase ball speed and distance for golfers. This means utilizing premium materials to create the ideal launch conditions with low spin. Honma has done this with the TW747 fairway woods, utilizing a carbon crown and high alloy steel to produce clubs that can benefit a wide range of golfers, regardless of skill level.
The Tech Story
The TW747 fairway woods from Honma are beautifully crafted by master craftsmen in Japan, producing a superb appearance that inspires confidence at address. Of course, the performance is what matters, and Honma delivers that as well. Each fairway wood includes a lightweight carbon crown that saves weight, allowing for a low center of gravity position that results in a high, penetrating trajectory. Each loft option has a deep weight screw and optimized internal weighting designed to generate the ideal combination of speed and forgiveness for each loft. The clubface, meanwhile, is made of thinner and more flexible steel than previous Honma fairway woods, resulting in a ball speed increase and a faster feel.
